Since there are so few switch accessible apps, I am wondering if anyone has come across something like the CrossScanner software as an App.  I have used crossscanner on the computer...slow, but basically a line scans down vertically-when the switch is pressed, the program starts scanning horizontally... allowing access to programs that are not switch accessible.  Just a thought.  What do people think about a similar app for iPad access for switch users.  Advantages/Limitations/ And is it even available anywhere yet?

I've not seen an app that operates with cross scanning. Really, cross scanning would need to be built into the iPad system itself if it was to work with all apps.

So apps are not like software? For instance, cross scanning is not built into a Mac or PC, it is software that scans the screen and allows selection based on where the scanning is on the screen.  I am trying to understand how Apps work differently than software.  So it could be a touch anywhere app that selects the portion of the screen that the scanning is on.  I think we should take an apps development class!  And then we could make some great switch accessible apps.
