For AT Specialists who are needing to make tutorials for Software training, here is how to capture your screen in Windows 7
1. Press the PRTSC(PRINT SCREEN) or PRTSCN key on your keyboard
This captures the screen
2. Past the image in to Paint, where you can crop and edit
3. Save the image for later use
If you wish to only capture the active window, use ALT+PRTSCN
For those using a dual platform laptop...such as the MacBook Pro...the keyboard may not have a PRTSCN key. You use the onscreen keyboard or you should be able to plug in an external keyboard that has the PRTSCN key.
Screen Capture is much faster on a Mac, but once you get the hang of it in Windows.
